Tricia Schaumann

Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner

Tricia received her certification as a Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner in 2009.

Using this gentle, hands on energy art she has helped many people relax into a state of balance, reducing and often overcoming such discomforts as migraines, headaches, stomach aches, sciatic pain, knee pain, sleep disorders, back pain, hay fever, the uncomfortableness and low energy of chemotherapy and dialysis, the tensions of everyday life, bring attitudes into balance.

Tricia is a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner trained in California, and has continued her trainings in Sedona and Cleveland.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient healing art from Japan that was reawakened around 1900 by Juro Murai. Jin Shin Jyutsu means “the art of the creator through a person of compassion and knowing.”  It is all-inclusive, meaning it helps all aspects: body, mind, and spirit.  It can be done by itself, or as a support to medical care (like chiropractic or chemotherapy).  It can be done by someone giving you a session or you applying hands to yourself.

Sessions are very relaxing. Some of the things Tricia has helped clients with are stress of school and work, phobias, healing from surgery, support in chemotherapy, brain problems, migraines, back ache, sciatica, and allergies.

Tricia is also trained in Yoga, Reiki, and Massage Therapy.

In a session, you remained clothed. Tricia listens to your energy pulses (the same as an acupuncturist does), and your pulses tell her where you are asking for help getting back into balance.

In a session, you remained clothed. We talk a few minutes before the session. Then I listen to your energy pulses (the same as an acupuncturist does), and your pulses tell me where you are asking for help getting back into balance. (I believe we are in balance to start with, but our attitudes, lifestyle, accidents... block our energy and cause imbalance). I place my hands on you and wait for your energy pulses to come up and balance, then move on to the next place in the protocol I’m following. I sometimes give a simple self-help you could do, on your own, between sessions.

Tricia is available to give Jin Shin Jyutsu sessions on Saturdays at Optimal Wellness.
